PSAT to SAT Conversions

The PSATs are a really good way to test yourself before taking the SATs. And the conversion is pretty easy, once you get the hang of it. Here are the steps!

1.) Your PSAT scores have three different sections: critical reading, writing, and math. These scores are between 20 and 80. Make note of each score.

2.) Add a zero to the end of each score. For example, a 48 would turn into 480.

3.) This gives you an estimated SAT score in each subject.

4.) Now you just have to calculate the total SAT score. Add the three new scores together, and that will give you an estimated total on what to expect on the SATs.

SAT scores range between 600 and 2400. Doing these conversions can be extremely useful because you can find out what your areas of weakness would be on your SATs and improve!
